We are looking for a talented and motivated community manager to join our team and help us grow and nurture our online presence. As a community manager, you will be the bridge between the community and Wooting. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the public's perception of our brand, products, and values. You will also be the face of Wooting within our online platforms, such as Discord, Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, and others.

Your main duties will include:

  • Lead on Discord: You will manage our Discord server, which has over 80K members and growing. You will ensure that the server is a welcoming, friendly, and respectful place for all users. You will also keep the moderators in check, organize community events, develop a policy and strategy for Discord, and write community and batch updates.
  • Manage Reddit: You will oversee our Reddit community, which has 9K members. You will monitor the posts and comments, respond to queries and feedback, and promote our content and products. You will also apply the same policy and strategy as Discord to ensure consistency and quality.
  • YouTube: You will support our YouTube channel by managing the comments and user interactions. You will also collaborate with the video creators and suggest ideas for new and exciting content.
  • Other socials: You will soft serve our X, Facebook and Instagram accounts, which means you will only post announcements and updates, but not actively engage with the users. This is to avoid the impression that these channels are dead and abandoned. Alternatively, you can suggest deleting these channels if they are not aligned with our goals and vision.
  • Misc.: You will monitor user feedback and reviews across various platforms and websites. You will report any issues, concerns, or suggestions to the relevant teams and departments. You will also identify and highlight any positive feedback and testimonials that can be used for marketing and promotion purposes.

To be successful in this role, you need:

  • A passion for gaming and technology, and a deep understanding of Wooting's products and values
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a friendly and professional demeanor
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the gaming or tech industry
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills

Remote work/Geographical

  • You can be located anywhere in the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway or Germany
  • You will work in a fully remote environment
  • You will enjoy an informal working culture

What is in it for you?

  • Monthly salary of €2300 - €2800 based on experience
  • Full-time (36 hours)
  • Budget for purchasing office equipment
  • Budget for working outside of home if preferable, such as co-working space or occasional coffee spot
  • 25 paid holidays per year (based on a 5-day work week)

  • Yearly bonus in the form of profit sharing
